Volunteers are a HUGE part of our organization without them we can’t serve our families in making a great impact in their lives. You are important, all of us have talents and skills to give, won’t you give of yours?
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities at Community Benefit Tree and are certain that we can find something that is just right for you. If you are interested in volunteering, but not sure what area you’d like to help us with, we have a full listing of all of the different volunteer opportunities available to you.

Opportunities
FAMILY CELEBRATION EVENT SUPPORT
Celebration Event Staff - Great Group Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteer at Celebration of Support events assisting with raffles, silent auctions, kids games, bake sale, serving food, grilling, etc. Volunteer opportunities would depend on the day of the event. Volunteer by yourself, as a family, as a group from church, school, civic club or through work.
Qualifications: Love to help others and work with others to support someone in need!
Time Commitment: You choose event and what area and time you would like to help.
Age: 5+ (age 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult)

Coaches play a key role in instructing the Celebration of Support team on the programs and tools Community Benefit Tree has to assist in having a successful event. Lead the family/friends of the recipient in the right planning direction.
Qualifications: Love planning events. Like to teach others. Willingness to travel some distance. Time to help others. Training is required.
Time commitment: 10 to 15 hours per month.
Age: 18+

CELEBRATION CENTER SUPPORT
Office/Storefront Assistant
Light clerical work, computer-related projects, filing, assists in preparing for
event projects, answering phones and email inquiries. Assisting with storefront pickups and drop offs of rental or resale items.
Qualifications: Willingness to travel to office/storefront in Kaukauna. Knowledge of computer. Good Communication Skills.
Time Commitment: Weekly -pick a shift(s). Monday-Friday
8 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. shifts
Age: 18 and up

Design/support our social media platforms, along with the opportunity to do other awareness opportunities for CBT such as dropping of flyers, posters at area businesses, expo’s, etc...
Qualifications: Familiarity with all social media outlets desired. Some travel required.
Time Commitment: Depend on your availability you can do this from home or travel to awareness opportunities. Days and Times would depend on opportunities.
Age: 16 and up

Includes taking pictures, pricing and positioning of items along with downloading them onto the e-commerce apps.

Time commitment: Some duties can be done at home and some will need to be done at the Celebration center.
Age: 18 and up

We have equipment that we use at each of our family’s fundraisers or rent that at times needs to be repaired, painted, or created. Along with repurposing of items to sell in our online store. We need individuals who are good with either fixing things and/or good with building/working with wood, crafty, like to paint, etc…
Time Commitment: Assist as needed basis for specific projects/repairs.
Age: 16 and up

Qualifications: Training is required. Need to have time committed in supporting a family through their medical crisis. Some financial understanding, an ear to listen and a heart for compassion.
Time Commitment: 4 to 6 hours a month
Age: 21 and up

Prayer Team
Coming together to pray for our prayer request along with sending cards and items of comfort to those families and individuals seeking prayer and comfort.

EVENT FUNDRAISING PLANNING TEAMS
Community Benefit Tree holds four fundraising events per year to bring in funds and supplies to better serve our CBT program recipients. We have multiple volunteer opportunities available to serve on our fundraising planning teams. These opportunities are a fun way to give back to your community by joining a team to plan our next fundraising event!

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Board Team Member
The Board Council serves as a critical community champion of the Community Benefit Tree. Members of the Board Council share their gifts in service to our mission by providing our organization with their professional expertise; their diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives; their connections, resources, colleagues or peers; their philanthropic support or other forms of needed assistance. The Board Council has no governing function within the organization.

Age: 21+

To serve on the Board as a voting member, to develop policies, procedures and regulations for the operation of Community Benefit Tree Inc., to monitor finances of the organization, its programs and performance, and secure and ensure adequate funds to support the operations. TERM: Three years with expected regular meeting attendance – Meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of each month from 12:00pm-1:30pm. If interested a separate application will need to be filled out.
Age: 18+
