Financial Assistance for Families Facing Medical Crises

At Community Benefit Tree, we recognize that a medical crisis can bring not only emotional and physical challenges but also significant financial strain. Our mission is to provide short-term financial assistance to families during these difficult times, helping them maintain stability and focus on healing. We offer support for essential expenses such as medical bills, housing, utilities, transportation, and groceries, ensuring that families have the resources they need to navigate their journey toward recovery.

Financial Support During a Medical Crisis

At CBT, we understand that when a family is hit with a medical crisis, it can feel as though everything is
turned upside down. The emotional and physical toll can be overwhelming, and the financial burden can
make it even harder to cope. That’s why providing financial support to families facing these challenges is
one of our core missions.

We are committed to helping families navigate through tough times by offering short-term financial
assistance and the right tools to ensure families remain sustainable during a medical crisis. No one should
have to struggle alone, and if you’re facing a difficult medical situation, CBT is here to help.

Financial Assistance can be provided to the following requests (but are not limited too):

  • Medical bills, not covered by insurance, submit itemized medical bills
  • Mortgage/rent payments due monthly
  • Utilities
  • Phone bills
  • Mechanical repairs to your vehicle, no body repairs
  • Car payments due monthly
  • Cable/Internet bills
  • Credit card bills can be paid only if used for recipient’s medical and living expenses- with
    itemized receipts
  • Handicap vehicle
  • Repairs to home
  • Fuel for vehicle – in the form of gas gift cards
  • To purchase groceries you will need to request store gift cards
  • Pre-approval is needed for non medical request

Any other requests outside of the ones mentioned above must be considered and approved by The Community Benefit Tree’s Review Board.

Just a Reminder:
To maintain staying on the right path to sustainability you will need to not make the following unnecessary
purchases: New House, Vacations- unless a special circumstances, New Vehicle, Remodeling of house- accept
handicap accessibility, Big Purchases, etc… BE CAREFUL OF EMOTIONAL SPENDING!
