🌟 Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program

Standing Together Through Medical Crisis and Hardship

Program Mission:

To bring hope and practical help to local families facing medical crises or financial hardship by activating the power of community—neighbors helping neighbors.

How the Program Works:

❤️ Community-Funded Support

The program is funded through donations from individuals, businesses, churches, and local groups who want to make a direct impact. These funds go toward:

  • Medical bill relief (hospital payments, treatments, prescriptions)

  • Emergency transportation costs

  • Essential living needs (groceries, utilities, rent/mortgage assistance)

  • Basic household items (via vouchers to our thrift store)

❤️ How Neighbors Can Help

We make it easy—and meaningful—for you to help a neighbor in need. Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Read Their Stories
Learn about local families currently facing medical crises. Each story gives insight into their situation and the challenges they’re navigating.

  2. Review Their Needs
See a breakdown of the specific funding needs each family has—whether it’s a medical bill, prescription, rent assistance, or utility payment.

  3. Choose a Bill to Fund
Pick the bill you’d like to pay. You’ll know exactly where your money is going and how it’s making a difference.

  4. Click to Pay
Make your donation directly by clicking on the bill. Your support goes straight to the provider or to meet that family’s specific need.

  5. Can’t Decide? Give to the Basic Needs Fund
If you’re not sure which family or bill to support, simply click the “Basic Needs Fund” button. This pooled fund ensures that families get help with urgent medical expenses and essential living costs—right when they need it most.

Your contribution—no matter the size—helps relieve the burden for families struggling under the weight of a medical crisis.
This is neighbors helping neighbors in action.

🧡 Together, We Can Bridge the Gap
