Purpose: The C.O.S.  Support Team was formed to serve to assist the C.O.S. committee in planning a successful event by providing them the tools needed. The goal is to provide, review, create and maintain the programs that the C.O.S. committees are needing.

Programs:

• "Ask It" Program- get unlimited advice on "How to organize a benefit"
• Rental Program- free rental of items such as : cashboxes, raffle drums, money aprons, kids games, easels,benefit signage etc.
• Raffle Program-assisting with selling of presale raffle tickets
• Promote It Program- promoting of your benefit
• Credit Card Program- usage of credit card machines and manning of them
• Benefit Partner Program- businesses provided services and/or items for free or at a discount rate for the planning of the benefit.
• Volunteer Program- we provided volunteers to assist you at the benefit
• "How to" Educational Program- an educational class and handbook that guides you step by step on how to plan an individual benefit.( A.K.A. Celebration of Support)
• Print It Program- printing or designing of posters, programs and letters
• "Give and Take" Program- take what you need and give what you can of benefit supplies.
• Also non profit status (tax exempt) for your benefit

Volunteer Opportunities:

C.O.S. Supervisor

 

·         The C.O.S. Supervisor would be partnered with a C.O.S. event to assist them one on one in providing the guidance and tools needed in having a successful event.

         C.O.S. Worker

• Work at Celebration of Support events the day of and assist where needed such as selling raffles tickets, registration, silent auction supervision, etc....

The Community Benefit Tree assists with Celebration of Support event that are put on by friends and family. We are here to equip the family and friends with the information, networking, and supplies needed in planning an individual benefit.
