Helping people at a time when they need it the most.
VISION:
The vision of the Community Benefit Tree (CBT) is to effectively steward families and individuals through medical crisis situations nationwide. CBT does this by encouraging full, balanced responsiblities and educational knowledge in every major area of a medical crisis including finances, health and spiritual well being. This enables individuals and families to more effectively cope during a medical crisis.
Statement of Faith:
The Lord calls us to help the sick, the lost and hungry and to be a reflection of His COMPASSION. CBT reflects the compassion of Jesus Christ and the HOPE that is in Him. CBT recognizes the direction of our organization is lead by our FAITH in God. That He is ultimately in control of our organization and will provide the financial means to go in the direction He leads us in.
CBT Serenity prayer:
God grants us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change. We know we can not change the situation our recipients are in, and we accept this limitation.
We have the courage to change the things we can...By God's grace we found a way to ease their burden. Through the kindness and generosity of friends, family and strangers, we are able to provide financial assistance to give some peace of mind to those who need their strength for healing and recovery.
And the wisdom to know the difference. Even though we would like to make all of our recipients well, we are grateful to be able to help in any way possible.
