BOARD OF DIRECTORS
President/Co-Founder-
Karla Wolfinger
is one of the co-founders of the Community Benefit Tree and has served as President since 2004. Karla is also the founder of the Larry Wolfinger Charity Golf Outing in memory of her late husband, Lawrence Wolfinger.
Karla is currently retired after having been employed with White Clover Dairy (now know as Arla) since 1985 where she was a supervisor.
Karla has six children and eight grandchildren.
Vice President/Co-Founder-
Heidi Frederickson
is one of the co-founders of the Community Benefit Tree and has served as Vice President and Executive Director since 2004. Heidi has been on the Larry Wolfinger Charity Golf committee since 1992 in memory of her late father, Lawrence Wolfinger.
Heidi is currently employed by Wolfinger Water & Backhoe Service LLC as the office manager. She has completed various certificates and continuing education in her related field.
Heidi has a Promotional and Management Certification from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and has graduated from the Academy of Travel LTD in Milwaukee.
Heidi has served 3 years on the school board at Appleton Christian School. She has/have been involved in the Ambassador's, Education and Business Development committees at the Heart of the Valley Chamber, as well as soccer coach, Sunday school teacher, and Girl Scout leader.
Heidi is married and has three children.
Secretary-
Lindsay Beyer
has been with the Community Benefit Tree Inc.,since 2007. She became active with the organization through the Benefit Partner relationship of her employer, Fox Communities Credit Union. because of the great work of the Community benefit Tree, Lindsay felt inspired to volunteer her time and give back to the community.
Her professional background includes 10 yrs in the financial industry, where her experience ranges from working with members and customers deposit accounts, mortgage and consumer loan office and assisting on special projects in the product and development area. She has been with Fox Communities Credit Union for 5 years and has been able to assist many of the benefit committees with the financial banking needs.
Lindsay has earned an Associated Degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in the area of Marketing and Communications and worked as a graphic artist for 7 years. After completing her Bachelor Degree from Concordia University in Management and Communications she decided to do a total career switch and began her career in the financial industry. Along with volunteering with Community Benefit Tree, Inc. Lindsay volunteers her time at her church and school district.
Lindsay and her husband, Rob, live in Greenville, WI with their two children.
Treasurer-
Samantha Gehl
has been with the Community Benefit Tree since 2007. Her belief that everything happens for a reason and that helping others during a time of need led her to the Community Benefit Tree.
Samantha's business experience includes 15 years in the for profit sector. Currently her role as business operations manager is split between two companies. She is responsible for the development and management of all administrative policies and programs. This includes the accounting, marketing and human resource areas of the companies.
Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude from Marion College, Fond Du Lac, with a degree in Human Resource Management and Operations Management. She is committed to continuing education and holds various certificates of completion in these and other areas.
She and her husband, Matt, live in Sherwood. They enjoy spending their time with family and friends, and their Golden Retriever, Copper.
Denise Belongea-
has been with the Community Benefit Tree since 2004 and with the Larry Wolfinger Golf Outing since the beginning in 1992. Denise has serves on the board since 2004 and the Larry Wolfinger Charity Golf Outing committee since 1992.
Denise is currently employed by Heartland Business Systems. She has a degree as a Computer Operator from the Fox Valley Technical College of Appleton.
Denise has also volunteered her time as a Girl Scout Leader, Sunday school teacher and on the United Way Committee at Anchor Foods.
Denise has two children.
